Getafe's Cortes Concedes Barcelona Superiority

After losing 2-0 to Barcelona, David Cortes admitted that the better team had won.

Speaking to AS after the match, Cortes said, "It was an even game until the first goal."

"It is not about individuals, but a team effort where they all wanted the ball. Barcelona took advantage of their first chance, and since then we were out of it.

"We had high hopes for this game. We knew we could lose, but we must take the positives out of it and think ahead to Almeria, which is a game we should win.

"The Barcelona game is now over.

"Their goals came after they made changes, but we continued to be competitive, although they had the luck to score the first goal, which launched them."
