San Siro Sold Out For Inter - Barcelona Champions League Showdown

Fans hoping to get a last-minute ticket for the Champions League showdown between Inter and Barcelona next week will be left disappointed as the club have announced they have sold every ticket.

The two giants of European football will tussle on Matchday 1 as they attempt to take a stronghold on Group F. Inter have confirmed they have shifted the last remaining tickets, and unsurprisingly it didn't take long for them to be snapped up.

A statement on the club's official website reads, "Inter-Barcelona sold out. With five days to go until the Champions League clash against Barcelona, the Giuseppe Meazza has sold out in every section.

"After going on general sale, the last few tickets were sold in the early hours of this morning."

Those who were lucky enough to get hold of the tickets will be able to see former hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic return to confront his old team-mates.

There will not be a hero's welcome though, as the Curva Nord have already promised a frosty reception towards the striker.
